Before I touch on the subject of solar, regulators, batteries and the likes I will mention as a disclaimer that between being a mechanic for over 28 years, a Utilities manager for the last 3 years and evaluating forum after forum, web page after web page looking for facts on each topic, what I came up with is “My interpretation of the facts “based on those whom I determined to be speaking them and what in my head made sense and sounded logical.

 What i've determined is that our set up and what works for us does not mean that is what will suit the next person. Therefore please use our information as a guide and not a golden rule. Each to their own. 

 

What I’ve noticed though is there’s a lot of people on forums that will happily give miss guided information purely because they know no better and base their knowledge on the fact that uncle bob once said the world was flat so they believe it without researching.
