We do also have a generator in the back of our ute which we don’t plan to use however we got it for the one time a year that it may get us out of the crap. Or alternatively the times when there is no one else around and its hot we can start it and run our air conditioning for some luxury without annoying people nearby from using a generator. I personally agree with all those people out there that generators should be banned from campsites, the fact that we have one is only for emergency and to be honest probably a over kill including weight considering we have a diesel 4wd with DCDC charging capabilities that will allow us to hook up to the van and charge the batteries if we need to. But we did get one cause we can.

Below is a picture of the most common and recomended Honda generator although we opted for a cheaper 3.2kw generator that does the same job.
