As we drove in to the showgrounds we passed a house that we assumed was the caretakers place. It had a camping sign and one telling you there were dogs in the yard. From what I had read you set yourself up and the caretaker comes around about 5.30 pm to collect.

The toilets and showers were new and clean with a nice new disabled toilet/shower room.

We were the only ones in the huge area (yet again) once it turned dark a couple more people turned up but that was it.

The showgrounds had good facilities, wasn't noisy and there was a bit of wildlife flying around so overall was a pleasant stay. Would recommend to others. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to stay long enough to investigate the town center but the petrol station close by is set up to be RV friendly so that's a bonus.
